The new postage rates introduced on 21st August 2006 make a big difference for items which are lightweight but won't pack flat... just like spare Lafuma laces and bits.
This makes it quite expensive to buy single items - but you can still get better value from your postage cost by ordering a larger number of items at a time, and bulk discounts still hold.
The Lafuma recliners and chairs we stock are tough. Really tough. In fact, most of the time if you think their paintwork needs touching up, it is because they have picked up stains or paint from something else they have bashed against, and come off better in the encounter.
So it should be a long time before you need one of these little retouching kits. What you get is a small pot of paint with a brush inside the lid, colour matched to the main Lafuma frame colours. It's not cheap (in fact we have asked Lafuma why it can't be cheaper), but this together with some of our other spare parts is an excellent way of smartening up an old or tired-looking Lafuma recliner or chair.
If the elastics that attach the central canvas of your Lafuma recliner to the metal frame have become worn or frayed, we can provide replacements.
Lafuma supply these elastic laces pre-cut to length to suit any one of the Lafuma products that uses elastic laces - reclining chairs, sunbeds, loungers, easy chairs and so on.
An set of replacement laces (two shown in photo) costs £11.00, and is sent out by first class post at a cost of £2.00. Obviously, if you order more than one at a time the postage cost per unit will go down - call us and we will weigh them for you to find a postage cost.
The colours currently available are black, green, dark blue, or white. White will match either the Denim or Seigle recliners, and dark blue also matches the Denim.
You might want to call us to double-check availability, as we get sudden unaccountable flurries of demand for these. For example, after nobody asked us about these for two or three months, suddenly we had four people on the same day calling from Scotland and buying up our entire stock. We get replacements direct from Lafuma, and it takes a while for them to arrive from France.
Two sets of laces as above, at a reduced cost for a double pack - for re-stringing a pair of recliners or loungers.
These are the little rubber "horseshoes" that Lafuma recliners sometimes shed - they keep the metal parts off the ground.
The original feet came in white or black. We tried to keep both colours in stock, but Lafuma have now changed many of the white-footed chairs over to black, so it looks as though we won't be able to provide white feet in future.
People tend to need to replace the arms on their recliners after they have been damaged in storage - either when putting them away or, as quite a few people have told us, "nibbled by mice". We don't know what it is about the foam strips that makes them so tasty for rodents, but a good way to avoid this problem in the first place is to invest in a carrying/storage case for the recliner.
Anyway, if the armrests have become unsightly, you can get these replacement arms in a kit together with the bolts and plastic fittings to make your recliner good as new.
The price shown is per pair. Unfortunately these are a little expensive to ship, as they are a difficult shape and need to be packed carefully to avoid damage en route. Why not add something else to your order to make it worthwhile shipping in a lightweight next-day courier pack?

If you have lost or damaged the headrest for your recliner, you can get a replacement. We have replacement head rests to match the Seigle, Navy (or Marine), and Forest Green (Outdoor) recliners.
The one pictured is in Navy. This is a very, very difficult item to take an interesting photograph of!
It's an odd thing to call it but we haven't found a better name - the "canvas" is the central padded or stretchy fabric part of the recliner, that you sit on. Some people find theirs wear out after a decade or two, or sooner if the Lafuma has been out in the sun or rain a lot.
It took a long time for Lafuma to agree to supply these as spare parts - they used to say that if the fabric had worn out it was really time you bought a new recliner. But now we have these in Seigle or Denim (Batyline fabric), Navy or Forest Green (Padded) (the picture shows Seigle). Please call us if you need a different colour.
This is a Torx screwdriver that fits those cunning little fasteners on the arms of Lafuma recliners. We'd never come across these before we started stocking Lafumas, and apparently the only other application for them is fixing disc brakes on mountain bikes!
This is the piece of kit you need if your Lafuma has a screw loose and you want to tighten it up a bit. We were surprised that these were not cheaper, but then we suppose a little preventive maintenance is cheaper than buying a new Lafuma prematurely. Please note your screwdriver may look slightly different from the one pictured, as we have several different makes - but they all do the same job.
Alternatively, you could always ask for a Torx T25 key at your local bike shop!
