 | Lafuma RSX Recliner in Green (Padded)
Yes, these are exactly the same Lafuma recliners as you will have seen in the Reader Offers in the daily papers... except of course they're a lot cheaper, and delivery is next day instead of 28 days. This is the standard colour for Lafuma recliners for therapists (but mainly because we've been importing them for three years longer than the Batyline colours). This has a padded cloth base, so you should try not to get it wet, unlike the Batyline recliners. These fold down very small when not in use, but for storage or for carrying recliners from place to place you might like to consider the carrying cases - tick the box below or check the head of this section. Please note that with effect from March 2010, Lafuma have made a slight modification to the green padded recliner - the frame is now in a tasteful bronzed finish instead of plain green, and the fabric is a slightly deeper colour, closer to British Racing Green. We like it.

This Marine recliner is in padded fabric, similar to the Green also on this page, with dark trim and armrests. As well as with reflexologists, these have proved very popular among both therapists and caravanners in the few years they have been available. What is the difference... ...people often ask us, between the padded (RSX) and Batyline (RSXA) fabric on the recliners? In terms of comfort, very little. Some people prefer to have the inch or so of padding, some prefer the stretch of the Batyline fabric - it's about a 50:50 split in terms of numbers of people who have a preference. The real difference is in how resistant to water the fabrics are, and therefore how easy to clean. Before they are exported to us, the padded recliners have to be treated to meet UK fire retardance regulations. This means that you do not want to get them wet, as there is a chance they may develop tidemarks like salt stains. The Batyline mesh fabric, on the other hand, is water resistant, and therefore more versatile and much easier to clean. Right now you are looking at the RSX recliners: click here for the RSXAs.
