The Christmas Wish List from OSR As always at this time of year, we have put together a list of "what to buy the therapist who has everything", both to help you choose a gift for a friend who is a reflexologist or other therapist, and also for our next wave of reflexology students to drop heavy hints about the kit they will need early in 2009! We've arranged this with the simple "gifts and goodies" at the top, and the more serious items towards the bottom - so by and large the cost of items will go up as you scroll down the page. If you would like to order any of these items, links are provided to the shopping pages - or call us on 01865 876 650 to put together an order. Happy browsing! |

"Understanding Reflexology" book A handy little introduction to all about reflexology - now in its much improved second edition, and a great way for people to start learning without having to wade through a great big textbook. Only £1.99, and delivery is free! Click here to order.

| Gift Vouchers for Products or Treatments What if you really, really can't decide what to get them? Gift vouchers to the rescue. You can give them these highly postable gift vouchers, redeemable against both products from OSR and treatments from Wheatley Complementary Therapy Clinic, in multiples of £5. We can post them to you or direct to the recipient, with a special message of your choice. You can start the process of ordering vouchers by clicking here |

Incense and Burners Nag Champa incense, plus burners and smoke boxes to make the most of using it. Click here for everything to delight those who like smoke and smellies. There's even Nag Champa soap!

| ART Cleansing / Refreshing Foot Spray Less essential to a therapist than Tony Porter's standard ART Foot Balm, and more of an optional extra - so an ideal stocking filler. This handy little spray is just right for use on your own tired feet, or for "sanitising" feet for anybody who is self-conscious about them. There are all sorts of ways you can use it, even if you're not the professional reflexologist it is intended for. Click here for more information and to order. |

"Relaxing" Music CDs We have both the standard therapist's "relaxing" music (personally, it drives me up the wall but I seem to be more or less alone on this), and also some very pleasant CDs of Chopin nocturnes and similar. Click here to see the whole section.

| One for the ladies... Not seen one of these before? Nor had we until this time last year - but we were so impressed by it we started stocking them straight away. It's a Chillow, a super-clever cooling comfort pad. We think they're so great, we've put together a page all about them, right here. We guarantee you know someone who will just love one of these. |
|
Books and Charts In the section below, we get into the slightly more "serious" books and charts for student and practising reflexologists and other therapists. Please note - if you are buying gifts for someone who is soon to start a course at OSR, don't buy them Inge Dougans's "Reflexology, The 5 Elements and their 12 Meridians", as they will be given that on day one of the course! |
|
Reflexology Text Books Books for reflexologists - classic text books, plus a few that are slightly more unusual. Click here
|
| Anatomy and Physiology, for beginners or experts Lots of useful text books for therapists, for learning the systems of the body. We don't include books in this section unless we and our students have tried them and found them to be helpful. Click here for the full list. |

Super Human Body Cubes These are the amazingly clever folding cubes with systems of the body shown on all sides - you unfold and rotate the cube to see the different layouts, and it packs an amazing amount of information into a very small space. If that makes no sense, you will have to hold one to find out how it works! Let's just say the picture doesn't do it justice. These are great as aide-memoires or revision aids for people learning their anatomy and physiology, as aids for therapists trying to explain the workings of the body to clients, and also, we have found, for school for learning or revising about the human body. Highly recommended as a gift. And they're only £5.99! Click here to order.

Therapy Training Courses Have you considered buying somebody a place on a short course here at OSR? There are plenty of courses going on all the time here. Some are only suitable for experienced therapists, but others are open to all comers, like the Indian Head Massage or Hopi Ear Candling one-day courses. Visit the short courses section on the main website for more information. |

| Lafuma Recliners, Spares and Accessories The essential reflexologist's tool, but also the most comfortable garden, pool or caravan chair known to mankind. If you don't believe us, come and sit in one! This is the equipment we use here at the School for reflexology treatments, and as soon as we first acquired them in 1999 we thought they were so great we started buying them in for students and the public as well. For the complete packs of a recliner plus discounted accessories, click here. This is definitely the No. 1 present to get in a student reflexologist's good books. |

Will there be anything else, madam? That's the end of the items that we have singled out as being suitable for gifts. But there's plenty more besides, both for therapists and for everybody else as well. This link will take you to the front page of the whole shopping site - enjoy! |
